Keith Wommack

  • Keith writes a weekly syndicated healthy th(ink)ing column/post for The Houston Chronicle, The San Antonio Express News, The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, Amarillo Daily Globe-News, The San Angelo Standard Times, The McAllen Monitor, The Odessa American, The Big Bend Sentinel, and many other news media organizations.
  • Keith is also a special guest contributor to CNN and Psychology Today.

  • Keith is originally from Austin, Texas.
  • In 1972 Keith began playing professionally with his own musical group, The Wommack Brothers Band, performing with Journey, Elvis Costello, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. For ten years, Keith toured throughout the United States and in Europe.
  • In 1982, Keith left the musical group and began helping others through prayer in his Christian Science healing practice.
  • After marrying his wife, Joanne, in 1992, he moved to Houston, Texas, joining Joanne and her two boys.
  • In 1994, Keith and his family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas. A month after the move, Keith began teaching yearly classes instructing others how to heal spiritually.
  • Keith has had 30 articles published in the Christian Science Monitor, Journal, and Sentinel.
  • Keith has given talks and workshops in universities, libraries, prisons, hospitals, and churches throughout America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. These events focused on the impact thought and spirituality have on health.
  • Keith has been serving as the legislative liaison for spiritual healing and Christian Science in Texas since September, 2009.
